Wellness Wander - 1 Pager Activities

  • Never-ending Story

Take turns telling a fictional story. One person begins the story and passes it off to the next, until you reach the next prompt.

Are you on a solo stroll? You can still create a story in your mind with you as the main character.

  • Do you hear what I hear?

Take a moment and count how many differing sounds you can identify.

What was different or the same about each sound?

  • Notice your Surroundings

Count how many different colors can you identify around you.

Are there any cloud formations in the sky?

What color is the grass this season?

  • Catch the Breeze

Is it windy or breezy today?

Pause. Notice the air across your face or body.

Can you take a guess how fast the wind is moving?

  • Be Kind to Yourself

Take a moment to consider 2 things you like about yourself.

    Say them aloud, “I like...”

  • Gratitude Creates Attitude

Think of 3 things you are grateful for today. I’ll go first: I’m grateful that you’re taking this Wellness Wander with me!

    Your turn:

  • Connect and Reflect

Did you enjoy your time today? Check-in with a friend on your way home and schedule a time to wander next week!

  • Stay Social

If you pass someone along your walk today, pause to wave, say “Hello”, or ask them how their day is going?

  • Simplify Self Care

What is 1 action item you can achieve for yourself today?

Set a reminder or alarm to complete it!

  • Sync it up!

Explore syncing your inhale with a pause in your forward movement.

    Exhale as you progress forward.

How long can you keep this pattern going?

  • Mindful Moment

    1. Choose a pace that feels comfortable to move forward.

    2. Then count to 20 while you’re moving forward.

At 20, pause your movement & take 1 slow inhale through your nose & exhale out of your mouth.

    3. Continue on the move pausing to focus every 20 seconds using 1 extended breath.

  • It's okay to not be okay...

Having a rough time? Pretend to give yourself advice as a friend might.

How would you encourage yourself today?
